# Printing Decks
**Printing Decks** refers to PDFs or similar files you can print at home or send to a print shop, or making digital "prints" for online services.
Click the button in the top right of the Deck view to start.

## Format
Select the **Format** for your print.
Some options are Coming Soon...or maybe they're already done!
### Individual PNGs
This option will export each Card as a singular .png image file. Front and back will be exported as two images.
### Sheets
For printing at home, use either *PDF (sheets)* or *PNG (sheets)*.
**Pick PDF (sheets) when:**
* You want a single file to share, archive, or hand to a print shop.
* You're using a CMYK color profile and want it preserved as a declared output intent.
**Pick PNG (sheets) when:**
* Your downstream tool wants per-page bitmaps (some layout/imposition software, slicers, or commercial printer uploaders).
* You want to inspect, swap, or reprint individual sheets without cracking open a PDF.

## Preview
The Preview on the right will be updated as you change settings, and gives a visual representation of what the printed sheets will look like.

Previews are rendered at a lower resolution to increase rendering speed.
For larger decks, loading previews can take a while. You can export before the previews are loaded, if you'd like.

## Cards
Here you can choose *All Cards*, or a *Range*, or only the cards you selected. You can optionally choose specific cards to print in this window as well, when *Specific Cards* is selected.
Toggle off *Multiply by Copies* if you only want one copy of each card, and *Include Backs* if you do not want the backs to be printed.

## Layout
This handles the layout of the cards on the image, available in inches or millimeters.
Choose your paper size, and set your margins, and optional padding between cards.
You can choose to rotate cards 90 degrees — the help text will tell you how many cards fit per sheet with your current selections, and if you were to rotate them.
Usually 300 dpi (dots per inch) is the best resolution for at-home printing. You can export as little as 72, or as much as 900 dpi.

## Card Finish
While each Template has its own bleed and corner radius values, you can choose to set those here insetad, overriding whatever is set on the Template.

## Sheet Options
Here you can enable **Sheet Labels** and **Cut Guides.**
**Sheet Labels** will show in the corner, and may be useful for keeping the printable sheets organized.
**Cut Guides** will appear on the sheet itself and can aid in cutting the cards at home. You can choose the style, color, and opacity of the guide lines.
