# Shapes
\ **Shapes** holds all of the uploaded, imported, and created shapes that belong to a specific Project.

Demo shapes are shown by default. To disable those, visit the App Settings in the [User Settings](/docs/projects/user-settings.md) and toggle on *Hide demo shapes*.

## SVGs
Use SVGs to get clear icons at any scale.
### Upload SVGs
You can upload any .svg file from your computers using the button. The shape will be added to the currently selected folder.
### Import from Iconify
You can import icons / shapes from Iconify, selecting from over 200,000 available. Click to do so.

## Bezier Shapes
Bezier shapes are made within Cardstock Studio.
### Create new Shape
Click to create a new shape using the online tool. Learn more about [Creating New Shapes](/docs/design/shapes/creating-new-shapes.md).
### Trace Shape
Click the button to upload an image — ideally black and white. The system will attempt to trace this, after which you can modify it if you'd like.

## Selecting Shapes
Clicking a shape will open the editor. If you'd like to select the shape, hold down "command" to select it without opening the editor. You can then use "shift" to select a range.

## Deleting Shapes
With shapes selected, right-click a shape and choose "Delete \[X] Shapes."

## Moving Shapes
With shapes selected, drag them to another folder to move them to that folder.
