# Drop Shadow
The **Drop Shadow** is a classic effect, which likely needs no introduction.

## Distance
The *Distance* value determines how far away the shadow is drawn, giveing the effect of a larger lift from the page.

## Opacity
Handles the opacity of the shadow.

## Spread
Spreads the shadow outward, diffusion.
***
## Color
Updates the color of the shadow — default is black.

## Mode
The *Mode* defaults to the classic "Drop", but "Perspective" will aim the shadow at a specific point in the Template.
### Drop
Update the *Direction* value to change the direction of the shadow or toggle on "*Use Template Light Angle*" to use the value set on the Template.
### Perspective
Update the *VP X* and *VP Y* to set the vanishing point, or drag the icon to a point on the Template (or off of it). You can toggle on "*Use Template Vanishing Point*" to use the position set on the Template itself.
