# Image Layers

*Flip Horizontal* and *Flip Vertical* will flip the image.

## Disable if not set

When true, the entire Layer (including children) will be disabled if the image is not set.&#x20;

If you link a [Variable](/docs/design/templates-design-your-cards/variables.md), and the Deck row for the Card has no value, then this Layer and its children will be disabled for that Card.

## Set Aspect Ratio

Image Layers start at a square aspect ratio. Clicking this will set the Transform width and height to the native aspect ratio for the image.

## Blend Mode

This sets the default Blend Mode for the image, determining how it appears when over other graphics.
